Metamorfosi is on of the refugee villages of Halkidiki. Its refugee residents settled after 1925 on one of the most beautiful coasts of Toroneos gulf. It is located at the beginning of the Sithonia peninsula, built with a city plan on a green slope with pine trees, next to the sea, which made it known very early in Greece and throughout Europe as a tourist resort. The main occupation of the residents has to do with tourism. In Metamorfosi the visitor will find everything he needs for a comfortable stay, service and entertainment. The first children’s camp of the Ministry of Education was established in Metamorfosi in 1950.
